Default What am I doing wrong??? (Service Column Lock)

Read all the posts on steering column lock issues and cannot seem to locate this particular issue I am having.
2000 Coupe Automatic
History:
Took car in for GM recall (My first mistake?)
Purchased CLB bypass kit from Corvettes of Dallas.
Followed instruction on first page...connected CLB, reset pin in column still receive service column lock message on DIC.
Pulled fuses 25, 29 and 23. Waited 1 hour. Service column lock appears.
Pulled battery cables waited a day...preformed steps to reinstall CLB receive column lock service message.
Pulled BCM waited over an hour...reinstalled BCM and CLB continue to receive service column lock message.
I have heard on rare occasions that the BCM could be bad but not likely.
Anyone have any idea what else could be wrong?
Thanks for the help in advance.
Gary R.

i think i read somewhere that you have to take it back to the dealer and get the K harness uninstalled.

A note , I believe this may help Gary,

If you do not install the "blocking-type" locking plate in the steering wheel, and you hook up the stock CL to the harness-K output, you still run the risk of the CL locking and stranding you! Just retract the stock CL (like you would on a CLB install), and don't hook up the second set of CL wires to the stock lock.

Wait, wait, wait!
If you had the recall performed that installed the GM Harness K kit, the lockplate should have been removed and the relay wiring harness installed that keeps the column lock actuator connected.
You DID remove the GM harness before you installed the aftermarket CLB relay, correct???
You should only install ONE of the relays, not both.
Make sure that when you installed the aftermarket CLB, that you installed it to the connector on the main wiring harness, and did not just plug it into the actuator end of the GM Harness K wiring.
The actuator should be left disconnected, so there is no need to worry about the actuator pin position (since the lockplate has been removed).

Have you done this, from the CLB sicky;

Go into your passenger footwell. Remove your BCM and locate the recall mod relay, remove it and add a jumper wire between the white wire (pin 30) and the orange wire (pin 87). Note that there are two orange wires, so make sure you get the right one!

This fixed it for me. Mind you mine is a A4 Euro and they are a bit different from domestic.

How do you guys know which orange wire is the right one? I'm trying to figure it out but it seems to be extremely difficult.
