Brake reservoir all cracked.
My wife's 2000 Corvette brake reservoir is all cracked. It does not leak right now, but it looks like the whole thing can fall apart anytime. Can you just replace the plastic reservoir? I have never seen this before.
thanks,
Steve

It's available as a kit so, yes, you can replace the reservoir without buying the whole master cylinder. GMpartsdirect has it for $42.33 but I would shop around for a good price/shipping deal.

My C4 had that same problem when I bought it. I coated it in JB Weld and never had a problem. I replaced it a couple of years later when master cylinder seals failed. Of course, it wasn't show quality...

Never seen one just crack all to pieces like that. It is almost like someone sprayed a solvent (maybe to clean the engine) that also chemically attacked the plastic in the reservoir. Scary!!
