I purchased Euro tail lights from a member here and they arrived safe and sound. When I wired them up I noticed that the lights don't illuminate in the order I thought they were supposed to.
When the parking lights/head lights are turned on the red area (white bulb) illuminates. -Correct-
When I use the turn signals/4 way hazard lights the yellow bulb in the lower part of the Euro lens lights up -Correct-
-The problem-
When I hit the brakes both bulbs light up. The bulb in the upper red part of the lens as well as the yellow bulb in the lower part of the lens. I want the yellow to stay turned off when I am on the brakes. I only want the upper red part to illuminate. The yellows should only come on with the turn signals.
Can anyone help me with the wiring diagram/and or/explanation information necessary to make this happen? I have seen it on other Vettes the way I am looking to make it happen on mine.
Thanks to anyone who can help me.

That action is what separates the brakelight circuit from the turnsignal circuit, so they can function independently.
The member (undr8d) that sold me the kit PM'd me back super fast and told me about cutting the wire. I failed to do that before. It works just like it's supposed to now! Thanks undr8d !!!
Is there a way to accomplish this without cutting the wire, such as removing the wire pin from the plug housing under the dash (if it's in a plug housing)?
If I remember correctly, you can just remove the pin from the harness, but you must be very cautious and make a diagram of all the wires and their position in the plug.Otherwise,it could be a really long day and you could cause yourself some big problems(who knows what all you could fry up)
