I am in the process of installing a few add-ons to my 2001 convertible vette and was informed that some of these will void my warranty. Is this true? Which ones? If so, can I reinstall the OEM parts if I run into a warranty issue and still be covered? Any suggestions? The add-ons are as follows:
1. Vortex Air Rammer Air Intake
2. Hi-Flow 175 Degree Thermostat
3. 1000 CFM Mass Air Flow Sensor
4. Coolant Bypass Kit
5. Magna Core Plug Wires
6. B&B Tri-flow Exhaust
7. BBK 80mm Throttle Body :mad

Under federal law your warranty cannot be voided. However you can be denied warranty coverage for any part you replace, or any part that aftermarket part directly affected.
In other words, if you put in a 427ci superstroker in the engine bay, and your side window electric motor goes out. Your window motor is covered. However if you grenade your transmission from that motor being in there, it could be shown that the motor most likly caused it to fail.
