Default LS7 carb intakes...

I doubt they fit under a stock C5 hood. How big of a cowl do you guys running carb intakes have to have? Just curious. I like my stock hood but was curious of the difference.

The stock LS7 intake only flows like 330 per runner. A little lower than the 390 they make when CNC'd. I doubt a carb intake will flow 390 without porting, but I'm sure it would flow alot more.

You should probably post this somewhere like the C6 section .... or General/Engine Mods, or even the C1/C2 area.

There are probably only a handful of C5's runnung around with an LS7 in them, let alone with a carburetor ..... most people (I would guess) putting a carb on an LS7 are probably using them in either hot rod applications, or in "modernizing" a C2 vehicle that might have originally been fitted with a 427.

some people use the carb intakes modded to run FI, not a carb on top, but an elbow
