Yea, it's not that bad at all. You do have to remove the fuel rail and injectors though. There are also torque specs, and a bolt pattern for putting the intake back on.

Also, you'll need to deal with the LS1 coolant pipes. They don't clear the 2001+ manifold...check out this link for a full explination:
