suspension question
My name is john Chesnut and am new to the forum. This is my first post. I am building a custom chassis and am using C5 components. I purchased front and rear cradles with all components from a salvage yard. I had them cut off the frame horns to which the cradles bolt so that I know the top aframe mounting locations. But, I have a problem.
I don't know if the cradles are mounted level to the ground at ride height or if they are tilted in a particular direction. Can any one provide me with the heights of the cradles at ride height? (from ground to bottom of front and rear control arm mounting flange. Or, to the center of the front aframe bolt and to the center of the rear mounting bolt.) I need to know what it is under the front and rear of each cradle. From that I can determine at what angle I need to attach them to my frame.
