Good day everyone. I was wondering if there were any guides or instructions on how to tear down a C5's interior to insulate it all? I am looking at insulating everything, including the doors. Any information would greatly help.

Went to Home Depot and got the Frost King stuff - used it throughout the back and the floors of the car. Under the console area I used a "bubble" adhesive insulator they had at Home Depot. I do not remember its name, but they carry it. It is quited thin and fits well under the console. Slow processs - just take your time -everything comes out easily. For the console: loosen the two bolts at the back of the center piece where your arm rests. Under the small control box in the console are a couple more bolts. In the dash there are,I think, three screws: two behind the ashtray and one just to the right of the steering wheel. Once the bolts and screws are out just whiggle the two pieces free. I found it handy to be able to move the shift lever back and forth to get the front piece out. They go back in much the same with "whiggling" the two pieces until they drop in together.
Didn't do the doors so I have no comment.
Worked well to reduce sound level and the bubble stuff keeps the center console cool.
