Remote Issues - Help Needed
Here is an observation I have made on my newly acquired '98 coupe:
The unlock button on the key fob can be used from any position (front, rear, and either side) around the car as long as I am standing close to it. The lock button, however, will only work if I hold the fob right near the back edge of the driver's door. I only got the one fob with the car, and putting a new battery in it did nothing to help.
What do you guys think? Is this likely a faulty fob, or is something else going on here? Your input is much appreciated.
