One is corvette garage and the other is KBB. Are these the same units? Do they both leave the low beams on when the high beams are used? IF these are both the same units there is a huge price difference. Please let me know if these are the same. thanks.
If the lesser expensive HIDs come from Ontario there may be a substantial customs charge. It may be a good idea to check that. I needed a part for a Canadian-built radar detector once and it turned out to be cheaper to just buy a new detector in the states.
ok . so do they both have the option there the low beams stay on when the high beams are used? on corvette garage they make it a point to say that theirs have the option where the lows stay on when teh highs go on. thanks again.

The ACA set I bought from KBcarstuff does have the lows on with the highs option. I think all the ACA made kits have this. They just use a diode to connect from the high hot wire to the low hot wire. Works great.
I have the ACA's from Corvette Garage and they do have the diode. Pretty big price difference though. Frankly, the high beams don't help much because the Xenons are so strong.
Looks like a good deal to me ... the Canadian connection. I need more light. Last time out I felt like I was over driving the headlights. Not a good feeling.

It's not so much that they don't work because the HIDs are so strong, but that there is a flaw in the housing design that points the high beams on the ground in front of the car rather then down the road when the low beams are properly adjusted. I've been doing surgery on the housings to fix the problem, but I'm waiting for it to warm up some more before I finish.

How about sharing what you have done and did it work ?
