Default Clutch Bleeding

Just wanted to know if when you folks bleed your clutch - when you bring pedal to floor and hold - then open bleed valve - then close bleed valve - then release pedal - does the pedal stay on floor or will it come back up on its own. Mine will not come up on its own - you have to help it back. After I help it back it reacts ok. Is this normal ?

Put a lil pressure on the pedal. Open the bleeder and while the pedal is going down, yet before it stops, close the bleeder.

Rinse and repeat as necessary

And yes, thats normal

I just bled mine and it came back up after closing the bleeder. I guess it could depend on the system to some extent. I was under the car so I didn't get to feel the pedal.

Did this last night- pedal stayed down. It feels fine driving it today though. The clutch fluid was nasty.

Mine stayed down, if you removed your pedal spring it will come back up somewhat.

If your pedal spring is installed correctly, your pedal should jump right back up, unless your slave or master cylnder is shot.
