I'M HAVING ANOTHER MOD ATTACK....HOLD ME BACK!
I just got my car runnin with the devil and and I can't stop.... :eek: I've done every mod I know IMO without going into the engine. I'ts kind of the next frontier.Where's the best bang for the buck?..... Nitrous??(wet or dry) 100 shot...150? Heads and cam?? Roller with a lump? Smooth idle but deadly? I can't decide.Help please! It's like a drug:cool:

How about heads/cam and nitrous? :lol:
Seriously, it all depends on what you want and how much you have to spend. If you're on a budget there's nothing like a nitrous kit. If you got the dough and want a smoother power delivery, go heads/cam.
I'd have both if I could afford it :yesnod:

I think you should try that new supercharger that just came out, and get a head/cam setup built to match :yesnod: I like nitrous, but if you have to $$$ a S/C is always on and no bottles to mess with. If the $$$ are a problem go with nitrous.

You and me both pal! My Best Bud has a 640 HP IROC that is as tame as a kitten...but roars like a Lion when the pedal is tipped. He originally had my motor which prompted me to go with a 383 from Lingy. I'd had it for 30K miles... it went 11.'s runs terrific and clicks low 12's on street tires while knocking down 24 MPG to and from the track. Smog legal too. Think I am satisfied? NOPE :D! The trouble is, what to do? I don't want NOS, I could do Brodix Track 1's with a CHOPPIER CAM. Turbos are out of the question. Why didn't I go with that 420 Small Block :lol:. I know how you feel! Once you get used to your configuration...you ALWAYS WANT MORE!!!!!

I vote the new supercharger. Having been around fast boats, I know they make a really good kit that works well with stock internals. Stay sane on the boost, and run an auto tap to look for detonation and make sure you are not lean, and it should be a very reliable package IMHO.

Definitely give Mike Norris a call at 407-656-2600. Great work and can customize a package for you from mild stock like idle to a wild lumpy idle and anywhere in between. Have fun.
