Guys, and Gals,
I am doing a Dynamat install and i want to remove the interior pieces around the rear speakers. Is there anything special that i need to know when doing this? I have a coupe and i know i have to remove the trim on the halo, but how do you get the bottom out around the speaker and shock
No special tools needed. It is all snaps apart after some screws and snap pins are removed. It takes a really hard yank to pull this piece free as there are one or two clips molded to the back of the trim piece that you can not see. To get it off completely you will have to remove the seat belt mount and the strut for the hatch. After removing one side I realized that there is really no room to install any material. On the other side I slid the carpet and mat out, installed the material up to the trim piece and worked the carpet and mat under the trim.

I got it all apart. I am going to put some material on the backs of the pannels to stop the rattling that i get when driving.
