How about a link? You don't really give enough info to determine what filter you are refering to....

Sounds very interesting. $150 Bucks....what is the average cost of the BEST throw away? Delco Gold? How does the filtering properties of this one compare to the best throw away?
I have not had the pleasure of changing my oil...still have 45% on the DIC

I use K&N. It has an anti drain back valve, no dry starts also has an eyelet for safety wire; $7.50

I heard K&N pretty is good. I believe I have a K&N on mine.
Rounding to $8 bucks a copy...it would take about 19 oil changes or 57,000 miles (if you change oil every 3K) to pay for the new filter.

Not sure if it is worth futzing with. Maybe for the tracked car, but not for the garage queen? I'll save my $150 for CCW Classics

Every vehicle is designed for a certain operating pressure of the drainback valve, this is why I only use OEM filters. Anything more or less can contribute to engine wear.

Ford I use Motorcraft and GM I use AC only.

Buy a AC DELCO, WIX, K&N or MOBIL 1 filter and add a FILTERMAG (from SUMMIT RACING) to the outside vertical surface of the metal filter. It's a lot cheaper.
BTW, I've used the after market reusable filters on sbc and sbf motors for years, but the prices have gotten just to crazy to justify them anymore.

I'll pass but the concept if it works is good.
I just cut my filters open to look at what's in the filter
