Default Koni FSD install question

I'm in the process of putting in Koni FSD's- but the package does not come with any sort of "boot" for the shock ... did you install them without the boot? Or- did you use the boot off your original shocks?

I replaced F45's, and re-used their plastic sleeves. I'm not familiar w/ the other shocks, so I can't help you there. Maybe someone else will chime in.

You have to hone out the oem ones and reuse them.

I had them installed on my 99. They come with a 0.1 inch thick white plastic discs that partly cover the top of the shock. I called Koni directly and they said that is all that is needed. No boots. You can put on an old set of boots, but they are not needed. When I removed the Koni's from my car, decided to go with a coilover kit, there was very little dust or debris on the disks.
Good luck with the install,
john

OK that's great to know. I'll just use them without it then.
