I autocross as well...I have a '99 FRC. In stock form it had the early Z51 set-up with the smaller diameter sway bars and plastic endlinks.

I fully intended to get the same set-up you listed, but went with Bilstein Sports, and a used set of later Z51 sway bars (28.6/23.6) with metal endlinks. From what I have learned, the Bilstein Sports are VERY close to the 2004 Z06 shocks in terms of performance and are only $300 shipped versus $430 for the 2004 Z06 ones. I paid $450 total for the set-up, versus at least $600 for Z06 bars and '04 Z06 shocks.

I've come to understand that for autocross, the Z51 set-up actually works better. If you look at the diameter of the Z06 bars, they are 30mm front and 23.6 rear, versus 28.6 front & 23.6 rear for the Z51. Based upon the front to rear ratio's of the diameters, it would seem that the Z06 would be dialed in for more understeer assuming the same alignment settings.

In any case these are just my thoughts. I welcome any comment others may have to the contrary..

My dad is a track, street course type guy. Like the car to handle well and get the power to the ground befor doing a bunch of perfomance mods.

With that said.

Bilsten shocks - WOW big improvment over the stock c5 shocks.
Eibach say bars - Have not had any body roll at all, and trust me, my dad drives the car like it should be driven.

For more info. Send my dad a message.

For the price, you can't beat a lightly-used Z06 setup. If you want to get the ultimate setup, it would be best to post this in the Autocross & Roadracing section.
