Default Hypertech for '01 C5 A4

Is this ever going to happen? I have been waiting for a hypertech since I took delivery.

Anyone know what gives.

Xmas will be gone and I'll have to wait until my birthday. :(

Thanks for the email and your interest in Hypertech. We have no release
date but, we do plan on producing one. It may be a month to 6 months before
ready. We appreciate your patience and hope to continue doing business with
you. Thanks again.

I called them to ask a couple of questions (I have 2000 C5, and therefore, a Hypertech I'm extremely pleased with) and asked them about the 2001 release date. They told me they are working on the truck editions first because they sell about 15,000 of those and maybe 500 for Corvettes. It's a matter of economics. He said when they finished the truck design, they would do the Corvette ones. Probably not what you wanted to hear, but it's what they told me.

Why don't you ask Steve Cole at TTS to do a Powerloader for you? His wait time now is only between 4-8 weeks.

I remember that before the 2000 version came out, it was on their site for a long time, too. I'm not quite sure why they do that. Give them a call, they're pretty straight guys.:)
