I just registered. I used to post here all the time under another name. I went away for a while, but I am back because I know some local C-5 owners and like all gear-heads.
My sports car history is as follows: In 1999 I bought my 4th Camaro Z28, in 2000 I bought my 2000 C5, and in 2001 I bought my 2001 RT/10. I am 24 Yrs. I enjoy street racing as well as drag strip racing. My motto is “Drive it like it is stolen. I look forward to taking some MP3 videos of my buddies and I racing on the local streets and posting them for everyone to view.

Re: Viper owner back @corvetteforum.com (YellowSnake)
Is your Viper modded or stock? Were you at the Viper dyno-day...if so, that was my Silver C5 being dynoed. Lemme know if you ever wanna run on the streets! :smash:
intel55 Yes, I go to Uno’s by Woodfield weekly (depending on the weather) when the Supra guys go, to Fudruckers in Schaumburg every first Wednesday of the month, cruise Streets of Woodfield all the time, and I cruise locally whenever possible.
O-Ace My Viper has mods. No, I was not there on the Viper dyno-day because I was out of the country. How did your C5 do? I like hearing kill stories from both sides (Viper owners and non-Viper owners.) I am not an arrogant Viper owner; I know that any car can be beat with the right mods. But I welcome all racers! As far as my financial well being, you were close. I invested in the stock market during the recent Tech-boom and just rolled the money. Now I am an entrepreneur.
Ben01C5 I forgot long walks on the beach:lol: . Thanks for the compliment about my ride.

Good move I did the same thing :) Next year I will have a viper ;) I just need to sell my GN... :( I got no room to keep another car.
I have to share a funny story a friend told me last week. He is a retired exec VP from a very large, well known computer compnay. Made tons of money and retired in his mid 40's.
Last week he told me he achieved his financial goals for this year. He wanted to make a small fortune. He said, he did. He started the year with a large fortune, and now has a small fortune

Re: Viper owner back @corvetteforum.com (YellowSnake)
Welcome back! If you like street and drag racing your Snake, you should try it on a road racing circuit. The rush lasts much longer and it's a bit safer than the streets.
Re: Viper owner back @corvetteforum.com (YellowSnake)
Welcome back!
I'll Race Ya! I just need to buy a new intertube in my bicycle's rear-tire. I would take up on this offer, so you will have a chance, because I am planning on buying one of those tiny motors for the back of your bike that self propells it...
I can get somwhere around 78.5 sec. in the quarter-mile, so BEWARE!!!
