Has anyone put the drilled and slotted rotors off the C6 on the C5? Are they the same size as our stock?
the drilled rotors from a C6 are the Z51 rotors- they are larger then the stock C5 rotors (both front and back) and require a caliper offset bracket to install them on your C5. If you are not going with at least a Z06 17" rim (told they fit) or an 18" front rim- these will not fit your stock 17" C5 front rim. The C6 Z06 brake system is a whole other story- $1600 +\- and you must run larger rims in the front for them to work.
A lot of people are going this C6 Z51 route for a "Big Brake" upgrade to the C5...+\- $500 for the parts required at gmpartshouse and Gene Culley.
4 rotors- 4 caliper brackets and you reuse your C5 calipers as they are the same as the C6 units.
