2500 mile road trip...

Hey, i have a 00 mn6 coupe with 118k, and i am going on a road trip in a month...I am replacing the crank pulley because it wobbles and i am wondering if i should replace the oil pump too as i heard that they just die without warning, is this true? I would hate to be so far from home and have my oil pump just die and i figured i would be halfway there with the labor...If i should replace it, should i upgrade oil pumps? like ls6 or aftermarket? My car has headers, exhaust and air filter right now and it used to be supercharged if that matters...

If you do change the pump put some miles on it before your trip.
New parts sometimes die.
I don't know if a working oil pump just quit.

how about the water pump and idler pulley?
