Diff Fluid Change
I just bought some RP 75-90 and I was planning on swapping out the diff fluid this weekend. Now I keep reading about this "Limited Slip Additive". Do I need to add 2-4oz of this stuff to the Purple?
Is there any DIY posts out there of how to swap the diff fluid in a C5Z? I've been searching and haven't been able to find any. Is it as easy as the C6 with the bottom drain plug and the side fill plug??

Keep searching and you will find them. I am doing mine this weekend. The most important thing I have found is, do not drain until you are sure you can get the refill plug out. If for some reason you can't get it out and you have drained it, you could be in trouble.
As far as the RP, if it is the Max Gear, it already has the additives in it from what I have gathered. Also, you might as well do your tranny while you are at it.
You might want to get a hand pump also to get the fluid in. All this in threads scattered in the different sections. Search and you will find.
