powdercoaters chime in...
I'm curious to learn if one can powdercoat two colors on the same piece of metal...??? Maybe, mask-spray-bake, mask-spray-bake again ??? thanks for your input... Dave (put this on Tech 'cause it seemed like a technical question..)
I'm not a powder coater but I've got powder coated brake calipers that are Mag red with Silver letters. I've also seen a lot of guys posting pictures of black powder coated wheels with red or silver trimming. I'd have to guess yes.

Using Hi temp tape prior to coating. Then do it to the other area. Only did it once and it worked good, Just a do it yourselfer coater though so no pro.
you sure can, but you need a special hi temp tape as mentioned. i tried it, and its green... and green crap got all over my part. i had to trash it and get another one. but yes, you can. i often did a chrome base coat and then applied candy colors to valve covers... they looked sharp.
just be aware of the base coat/top coat colors, if you are doing multicoloring... base will affect top coat color. also, make sure to let the piece cool before applying the 2nd coat.
