Default Center console

I have removed the center console and need to remove the Acc plug to get my Ipod wire threw.

Does anyone know how to remove it? Thanks, Mark

Are you talking about the 12V power point/cigarette lighter behind the ashtray door or the one in the arm rest?

Either one has a grey connector that just pulls out. I don't know what your IPOD adapter looks like but I believe the connectors are all the same. It is too wide to fit through the 12V hole.

Is the IPOD adapter routed to the back of your head unit? Mine is as well, I put my adapter through here:

Yes threw arm rest. My Ipod does connect to the new Z2 HU.

Oh ok, the Z2 connects just like my D3. Running the cable is easy, just make sure it doesn't snag with the shifter or anything.

I just cut a rectangular slit that was wide enough to fit the adapter through. I used a dremel with a small cutting wheel. It's really easy.

I can pull the adapter wire through further if I need to.
