Just installed headers and took of the cats and the car runs great at half throttle....wot it falls on its face and backfires.....Do you think its running to lean???? Thanks. no codes at all......

It could be running rich or lean. Depends on what the PCM is doing to adjust for the lack of cats.. Are you still running your O2 sensors?

rear 02s deleted.......Its just weird how it runs so great until you floor it......It was tuned a couple weeks ago for the nitrous and my tuner said on engine the car was running rich cause of the nitrous tune...I thought adding the headers would lean it out....I havent sprayed it yet since putting on the headers...

It shouldn't be falling on its face like that under load. Check your spark plug wires.
