Exhaust Dump - pre cat!

Will this gain any HP? Are there any sensors that need to be delt with? Looking for the cheapest way to gain HP and a different exhaust note! Thanks

Anytime you remove restriction from the exhaust you will get more hp, and if you wanted to dump the exhaust before the cats you would need some 02 simulators. Internetracerssupply.com has them for $90, that is the cheapest I've seen. They also sell the dumps for $30ea. I think.

What mods do you have? If the car is stock I wouldn't go through the hassle of getting dumps welded in. Another route to look into would be an off road X-pipe (no cats) :cheers:

Is there any difference between an off road X pipe and an CORA exhaust system? Only other mod is INtake (Donaldson). Thanks
