Does anyone have any experience with Purolator's PureOne oil filter. According to Purolator, it has been ranked #1 in SAE tests. This is their top graded filter has a "micronic filtration system". Part number is PL14006 :seeya
I don't know the specifics on the Purolator filters but I'd recommend looking into filters manu. by WIX as well. I was told these filters are 96% efficient. When my supply of UPF's are gone I'm gonna try out a WIX.
By any chance, do you have a link to the Purolator claims? I'd like to see them as well.
Here's what they have for their PureOne spec filters:
"Exclusive Micronic Filtration System captures 96% of all contaminants (#1 among all major brands)
Silicone Anti-Drainback Valve for Superior Start-up Protection
PTFE- Treated Sealing Gasket for easier filter removal
PureONE. Better than Anybody. Better Remember It."
It looks like this filter design is a good one and easily comparable to the WIX.
