Default Z06 Intake on 2000 LS1

I just picked up a stock intake assembly from a 2004 Z06. I planned on just swapping the lid, but would it do me any good to swap the bellow and the coupler? Are they any different? I know that I shouldn't swap the MAF, so I'll probably list it for sale.

What "lid" are you speaking of?

The air filter cover. The 02+ Z06 has a larger opening than a stock cover:

yeah, i get it. Helps to be more specific. That's the air intake. Just saying "intake" will typically be received as the "intake manifold".

Right. I guess I assumed everyone would just know what I meant. I wish it was an LS6 intake manifold...

BTW, thanks for the seat parts! It's working again!

Only the lid will fit from the 2004 to your 2000. The 2000 & older C5's had the IAT sensor in the air bridge, the 2001 & up C5's had a larger Maf sensor with an integral IAT sensor. And the smaller 2000 Maf won't fit into the 2001 & up airbox.

Or you could purchase a Maf jumper harness from Casper's, then you could install the larger 2001 & up Maf sensor, air bridge & air box. Then you would need to get the Maf tuned with a wideband & Hp Tuners.
