Default Turn signals work intermittently

My turn signals work sometimes and then stop. I have to mess with my hazard indicator button and it temporarilly fixes the problem. Very annoying!!! Any advise????

Default blinkers

Happened on my uncles and we pulled hazzard button and cleaned the back with contact spray and reinstalled and problem was fixed.

Common problem. Need to replace hazard switch. Cleaning contacts is a temporary fix, not worth the hassle. They are cheap. Many links, do a search. Is a thread that walks through the replacement. I call it the "hammer" fix. A way to remove switch without pulling out the entire dash as detailed in the service manual.
