Default Clutch MC installation instructions?

Hey guys, I ordered a new MC for my car, I've been having some pedal issues and hopefully this cures it. Since the MC is literally the ONLY thing I have not taken apart in my car, I have no idea how to remove or replace it. I did a search, but couldn't find anything. Anyone have instructions?

Remove your windshield washer fluid tank to make this job 10x easier. Be careful when pulling it as the pump is on the underside. Simply unsnap the backside of thepump and remove. This will give you all the access you need. Then get under console from inside and take off the retainer clip at the top of the pedal and slide the master cylinder shaft off the pedal.

Go under the car and disconnect at the quick disconnect fitting between the master cylinder and the slave by the driverside of the firewall/tunel. I've heard using a open-ended 15 mm wrench works well.

From the top of the motor grab the master cylinder and give it 1/4 turn to the left (counter clockwise) IIRC and it should rotate then pull out with the resevoir.

Installation is reverse. Let me know how it goes for you.

After you install the new master in the firewall you will need to push the boot up against the firewall. I thought it would do that by just installing it. I kept reinstalling it wondering if I had it in wrong.

Awesome, thanks guys! I really hope this solves my shifting issues. If it doesn't, the trans is coming out

The transmission is somewhat notchy shifting and its a fairly new trans, plus it does not like to downshift in all gears. I believe the clutch isn't fully disengaging, and replacing the MC is the cheapest and easiest thing for me to try.

I had an internal leak in a stock master cylinder. Would be able to switch gears, but holding the pedal in at a light the point of engagement would sink until it let out. Made it hard as hell to drive. Put in a McLeod MC and no problems.
