Default Please Help.....

I'm getting black schmutz on my rear......

Everytime I'm out driving, if I punch it to WOT a couple of times, when I park the car, I fine this black stuff sprayed all over the rear end. I know it's coming from my exhaust, because the inside rim of my tips turn black too.

Please see my signature for the few mods I've installed..... And BTW, I don't have an oil catch can installed.... Do you think that might solve this?

Any help is appreciated....

The black dust on the inside of your rims is brake dust.
The black "schmutz" on the rear is unburned fuel. I have the same issue. My car is tuned professionally and properly. It is a combination of of the fact that when driving, there is a vacuum in the rear of the car where air tumbles and the unburned fuel sticks. If the schmutz is in fact little brown spots, that is oil and should be looked into.

when my car was running rich after a poor tune I was getting the exact same thing - a re-tune was all it needed for a healthy bump in power and resolved the buildup on the rear end...

Make sure the rear flanges for the cat-back are tight/gaskets are in good condition. Carbon build up can definitly come out of there with condensation in the exhaust from constant heating a cooling.....just my $.02
