Does the DTE strut absolutely stop the damn bunny hop and if so how hard to put on in carport. What do you have to take apart ? thanks
PS I don,t drag or track the car or dump the clutch, just some times I like to play .I guess some of it is due to 4 year old F1,s
It's not designed to stop or reduce wheel hop. It simply strengthens the differential case to reduce the probability of damage. Talk to Phil Rickard at DTE Powertrain and he'll be happy to explain the specific features of the strut brace design.
Thanks for the replies
Over a period of 4 years or so it has happened prob. about a dozen times ,I guess you never know when it,s too many
Funny thing ,I posted one time when I needed to get out of wife,s way in another car I reved and dumped clutch at same time,no hop just two perfect streaks about 40 feet

^^Look up a guy called "Ranger". He gives a lot of advice on how to drag race and talks about how to avoid wheel hop.
