"remove Key And Wait 10 Seconds".
My 99 gave me a new problem to think about last night.
When I started the car all was fine then the display message said to "REMOVE KEY AND WAIT 10 SECONDS".
I put the car in reverse and the engine died. I removed the key waited 10 seconds and restarted the can and went on my way.
This happened again the next time I used the car but did not happen thids morning.
What am I looking for here?
Thanks for any feed back

$50 is a small price to pay to avoid being stranded in a parking lot (or worse)

Keep the key clean in the future to avoid dirt buildup in the key hole. Remember the key hole has electrical contacts that mate with the key pellet.
Dirty contacts result in faulty electrical readings.
