99 Key fob problem????????
I need a little help with this one....I have a 99 coupe that when you resync the remote, once you get ready to lock or unluck the car it does the operation twice... on unlock the door unlocks twice on and ditto for lock/blows the horn twice. I have the rfa box removed and are wondering if that is it. We have replaced the battery in the remote as well. The remote also has to be resynced every once in a while...Anyone got any ideas? The rfa box is kind of expensive!

No, the fob itself is dying and the battery is not the cause. We don't know which component is giving up and we don't know who makes them so have been unable to contact a manufacturer. The only thing you can do is contact Gene Culley at Gmpartshouse.com and buy a new one.
