Just had a new clutch put in and also a new intake manifold. I'm driving home and everything feels perfect... get on the highway, put it in 5th gear, set the cruise control, its running at 2500 rpm, all of a sudden the engine "blips" it feels like I tapped the brake for a second... like its hesitating or "missing", then does it again... in lower gears or acceleration it doesnt do it, only seemed to do it while cruising in a higher gear. I also did plugs and wires...Any ideas?
The obvious first questions are .... Which plugs (and gap) did you install, and which wires (brand) ??? Did you ensure that the wires are installed correctly ???
Have you checked to see if any DTC have set, such a P0300 ???
Have you checked engine ground straps to ensure they were re-installed correctly as part of the intake install ???
Any other symptoms when the engine hesitates (gauges drop to zero, or lights go out ??)
Thanks for the reply but found the issue... vaccuum hose on the back of the intake came loose. Also explains why I wasnt getting ait through the vents. Cars running strong again
