How do I read the codes for check engine light

I have a check engine light on my 2000 and I am not sure how or were to read the codes.....Please help

Go to corvettedoctor.com and click on the technical database link and it will open another page. Look for the link to computer codes near the right hand top of the page. It will open a page with more codes than I knew existed. LOL

I tried a search....And this forum comes up with anything related to the words.......So it was kind of tuff to find with so many relations.....But thank you for your help......Was able to fix the problem......You guys are great......
