It's a GE 889 Bulb. Just call your dealer or cross reference it at any autoparts store :D. I always remove the plastic panels direclty below each foglight under the car. Then simply rotate counter clockwise and pull it out. Install is opposite of removal :D

I replaced mine with the 885 bulb... 50 watts instead of 37.5!!! Brighter for the same amount of money. :yesnod:

I've heard change out can be a pain in the azz. How much time should it take to do this?

If you can get it on ramps or a lift, shouldn't take more than 15 min. I think some people can get to them from atop with teh hood up by reaching down in front of the radiator shroud.

No need to do any of this. Flip up the lights, open the hood, look down inside at the back of the lamp, and change the bulb.
It's possible, and I've done it in the Auto Zone parking lot after I bought the bulb.

Re: Fog light burned out! (DUKE)
You can also adjust them with the Torx screw found in the small round hole next to each fog light lens on the outside of the car. You need a Torx 15 driver to adjust. You need to do it at night to see the light pattern on the ground. Take along a flashlight to help you locate the torx. I adjusted mine to shine about 20' in front of the car instead of 3' from the factory.

If you take the headlight covers off, you should be able to reach the light. Will be a tight fight though.

Re: Fog light burned out! (jschell)
Hi: Easy to change from the top if you remove the hood bump stop so you can get your arm down in. You might want to remove the headlight surround too which makes more room yet. Reach in, give the socket a twist and poke it back thru the frame so you're now in front of the radiator. Now you can use both hands! Use 885's, much brighter than stock. You can buy 'em at most auto parts stores such as Pep Boys and the like. Have fun! :D :D :D

Spend the bucks for the PIAA 1100X, there is no comparison to stock!

Re: Fog light burned out! (vettvert)
It sounds like jschell wanted to stay with fog lights, rather than buy driving lights.
The 885s give you about as much light as the PIAA 1100x, and retain the fog beam pattern.
Also, they install in ten minutes (both sides).
Sounds like he's happy.

Dang! I just spent $6.99 for regular bulb. Now I will take it back to get 2 50Watt ones :) What type are the 50Watt? I bought Sylvania, part #893 for mine.
