Remove key and wait 10 sec after CLB???

I've got the "remove key, wait 10 sec" twice after installing my Corvettes of Houston CLB last year, what gives? I don't hear the locking pin engaging and I can turn the wheel when the car is off so should I be worried?

Any suggestions?

I got the same thing last week and my car had the recall done...I pulled the key and waited 10 secs and after that it was fine. I really don't know what the deal is either.

A lot of guys having this problem specially if the car has been sitting for awhile (over the winter). Check your battery or put a charger on it and see if that helps.

Car has been sitting since November and charger went on in February so hopefully that's it. Thanks!

This message can be due to a dirty key resistor pellet. Clean it with alcohol. If this doesn't work, try another key, keys sometimes go bad. If this doesn't fix it, your ignition switch may be bad.
