Default little tire help please?

I am looking at TomZ's special on vredisten tires 275/40-17 and 295/35-18 for my 01 coupe, I am also putting on C5 Z06 wheels at the same time, will this combo throw off the speedo, how much? Also is there enough of a height difference to keep the ABS happy. Any other problems I haven’t thought of?

id go with 265's in front. and the tire height will be the same as your stockers. but even if its off a hair, the C5 has wheel sensors that correct the speedo....

Same sizes that I'm using and ABS seems fine.

OK one last question before I place my order, so with the 275/40's up front and the 295/35s in the back there is only about half an inch difference F-R so my car will see the back tire going faster than it should be in comparison to the front, so when I break traction my traction control will kick on sooner.....Right? Also both front and rear tire diameter are being changed, how will this not affect my speedo?...I lied, that is two questions.

In theory the T/C will kick in earlier... In practice you won't notice the fraction of a second it takes to spin the ~ 1 inch difference...

The stock tires rotate 780 times per mile
The new ones 797

If my math is correct... You will be going about 2% slower than your speed says...

I don't think you will have any problems. 1/2" to 1" difference in diameter is all that is needed to keep the ABS happy. Some on here report that they have gone to the same diameter front to rear with no problems.

275-40 is too tall looking IMO especially compared to the short 35 sidewalls on back. I had 295-35's but changed to 255- 40 front and 285-40 rear. It fills in the wheel openings much nicer. (Also changed to 9.5x18 front and 10.5x18 rear) The diferential in size front to rear was almost exactly what the stock size was and we just changed the computer settings to correct the speedo.
