Loose tips on NGK TR6 plugs

Loose tips on NGK TR6 plugs

I replaced my plugs yesterday and when I pulled out the old NGK TR6 plugs 7 out of 8 plugs had the tip unscrewed loose - 2 you could see a gap between top of the insulator and the bottom of the tip. I checked the new plugs for looseness, but they all felt tight. Should I use a drop of loctite to make sure they stay tight??

Should good plug wires hold the tips from turning?

Those NGK plugs are the old style pluge that the tips can be loosen, go buy a new set now, the plugs are re design and the tips are fixed and cant be taken off.

Thanks, that makes sense, since the new plugs I put in were not loose.
