For under 300 bucks you can get 06 Z51 bars and all needed parts to install them, they are huge compared to the stock ones that were on my car.Sure seems to stop the body roll I had in corners.
I only want to change one at the moment. Which is best to change first, front or rear?
Is the new bar stiffer than the old bar ?????
You normally should change both bars, changing only one will make the car's handling change ... sometimes in dangerous ways.
If you put a stiffer bar on the FRONT - MORE UNDERSTEER
If you put a stiffer bar on the REAR - MORE OVERSTEER
Unless you have some understanding of suspension/chassis adjustments, I'd STRONGLY recommend you change the front and rear bars as a "set" that are already tuned by GM or a 3rd party performance company for the C5 suspension/chassis.
Gene at GMpartshouse.com also has new C5Z06 bars, front and rear, and aluminum endlinks for under $240. That's what I put on mine... amazing difference in cornering over the base FE1 suspension.
