I was thinking of borrowing the wheels and tires off of my wifes car for a little while (shes not using them right now ). I know my tps sensors are going to go "code blue" on me. But when put my wheels back on, am I going to have to re-learn the sensors, or will my car see them and be ok.

As long as your battery does not completly die then your car should still recognize them when you put them back on.
That is correct ... just be sure each sensor goes back to its original position, or plan on reprogramming the sensors (which requires NO special tools).

i remove the battery from my car every winter and i put it back in the spring. i have never had to do a relearn on the tpm's. just drive the car a mile and they will start reading again.
