I thought I saw someone selling titanium rotors awhile back, but they were very expensive.

Some of the two piece ones will. The fire path is still iron, but the hat portion is aluminum. The only issue is that for road racing while they do last longer than stocks rotors, the cost is such that it is cheaper for some to but/change stock rotors more often. That is, one ring is more than several stock rotors. Still, the weight savings is attractive.

I guess there are some exotic materials somewhere, but the costs are way out there. And I'm sure they have their own issues as well.

Good Luck and be safe!

very good points about upgrading to 2 piece. Yes they are more expensive, but I can change my wilwood setup rotors and pads very quickly and at the track when I have little time that is very important to me. My wilwoods also last, but as you mentioned they are more expensive than stock blank rotors.

Now if you are not going to the track I doubt you will have to change the rotors ever. As a matter of fact my rear wilwood rotors have not been changed in 1 full year of RR so that has to say something.

and if you want to go expensive I am sure there are some $3.5K EACH rotors that are real light (hint C6R Carbon 13inch rotors)
