Default Ceramic Coating on Headers?

Im in the process of installing a Stiffened underplate with the Therma Shield for heat reduction in the floor board of my 98 Vette. Is it worth while or any benefit to apply Ceramic Coating of any type to the headers or the double wall pipe prior to the Catalyic Converters for additional heat reduction? Just thought it would be a good time now to do this if this is feasible. Any thoughts on this? Thanks....

TSP headers come ceramic coated. If you have to ability i would say might as well, shouldn't hurt anything.

I've got my entire Dynamax system ceramic coated. Anytime you can do away with some heat, do it. Besides, it keeps the headers looking like new.

I had my American Racing headers ceramic coated before installing them. I would always do this in the future! They stay nice lookng, and keep the heat down.

Mine are three years old and look like new. I would definitely recommend it. You might look at Jet-Hots prices.
