Default How do i pull my das apart?

Is there a write up on how to take your dash apart to look for the vaccume hose leak. Summer is almost here and while my AC works great now, I think i have been struck with the dreadded passenger side colder than driver vaccume leak. I am looking for the instructions on how to take the dash apart to fix this.
Thanks
Jason

Here are some pretty good instructions for removal. You have to take out the center console and then radio bezel first.

Thanks for the post, I am actually looking for the how to to remove the large dashpad on top. I think you have to remove the defroster vent and some other screws.

You're right. I didn't read then entire page. The part that is missing is to remove the trim on the pillars by the window, unscrew some screws in the front vent by the window, and remove some screws by the glovebox. I did this when installing my HUD, and the tricky part is the glovebox. Unfortunately, I don't have a good link to the instructions, so maybe someone else has a link with these last few steps.

After removing the radio bezel and everything underneath the driver's side steering wheel,

1) Use a small screwdriver to pop out the defroster vent (easy to get out)
Rather than unplugging the sun load sensor, just twist the entire assembly and remove.
remove one bolt on the left and one on the right underneath the vent you just removed.

2) remove the 6-7 bolts under the glovebox opening.

3) pull down the a-pillars, they are clipped in, start at the top and pull down gently but firmly, once the first clip releases, work your way down toward the dash. 3-4 spring clips hold it.

4) Remove the bolts you just exposed after removing the a-pillars (bottom corner of windsheild, both sides)

5) remove the bolts on the outside of the dash (covered by the door when closed) both sides

6) couple of bolts you exposed when you removed the radio bezel.

This is all from memory, so check for any more bolts, then gently pull the dash out.

The part that is wrapped around the inside of the glovebox is tricky getting out, even trickier going back.

Thanks for the info guys. I am going to try and tackle this sometime in the next week or so. I can hear what sounds like a vaccume leak under the dash when i am driving and this seams like the best way to just lay it all out and fix it.
Thanks again
