Here's the story, just want to make sure its the right problem before I go digging into anything. I was driving on the highway in sixth and hit the gas a bit to accelerate. Noticed that the tach advances about 3-4 hundred RPM before the car starts the accelerate. It will "slip" up a few hundred then catch. It does it off and on throughout a drive. Im sure this is due to my clutch going, but just wanted to make sure I wasnt overlooking any possibilities. If this is the case, anyone know of any good sources of step by steps on clutch replacement? Besides the service manual..... Thanks.

Sounds like pretty typical clutch slipping... How many miles are on the clutch?
I just used "Dopes Clutch How To" to swap my slave, and it was pretty comprehensive. It took me about 11 hours total (me and a couple buddies) to do the whole job. Here's the site: http://www.cajundude.com/c5techhome.htm
Its the original clutch and the car has 110K. This is the first actual maintenance the car has had on it. Other than typical up keep. Ill check out that site. Thanks.
