Parking Brake, need help
I have this posted in the parts section, but since it's kind of an odd part, I wanted to get it on here as well in case anyone happens to have one, or is parting out a car.
I need the whole assembly handle and mechanisim that connects to the cable that comes up from the bottom . Mine is broke and not reparable. Go figure I am the only guy I know that has a C5 where the parking brake does not work!!
Any of you parting out cars, or any others that would have one please let me know.

I've never seen it happen, but its strange. The brake won't stay in the locked position and when you pull up on it, you dont hear the ratcheting sound. After pulling the assembly off, it looks like there is a spring broken that is keeping it from putting pressure on the claw that makes that clicking sound and will hold it on place once you go one click or more. Hope this makes sense. but there is no way takin it apart because its welded together and riveted.
