Water leaking into passenger side!

Water leaking into passenger side!
ARGH! It has rained for the past three days here. I opened up my passenger door and see the floor all wet from rain that seeped in. How do I alleviate this? thanks.

Be carefull with the water leak. Last summer water leaked onto the passenger side floor of my C5 coupe (clogged evaporator drain) and it ruined the computer in the passenger footwell. It also immobilized the car - I was driving on vacation in Lexington KY, en route to Danville and was stranded. The computer cover is not watertight and the wires allow the water to "run" into the computer.

Hey, you were stranded where I live! Shoulda gave me a ring :D. Thanks for the words of warning. Mine seems to be leaking in at the back of the passenger seat. Anyone know what the fix is? thanks.

When I removed my console to add insulation under it, I noticed the large rubber grommet (that the emergency brake cable passed through) was loose and had "popped out". It is on the pasenger side of the console tunnel, to the left of the passenger seat, underneath the carpet. I used silicone rubber to "glue" the grommet in place.
It is possible that your grommet is loose, and allowing water to leak in at that location.
