How much HP will the LS7 clutch hold? Mods are listed in sig below. I am planning on replacing the stock clutch when it fails and I am considering the LS7. TIA

I just installed one in my 99 FRC about 200 miles ago. I was told that it will hold up to 500hp. Its doing a good job in my car... so far im pleased.
At the power levels the OP is pushing, IMO the LS7 will not hold up if you plan on running it with sticky tires at the track. One of our N/A
C5's making similiar power destroyed one on the 3rd pass it made.
I am also about to install the LS7 clutch. Does everyone run the LS7 flywheel or anyone use a lighter one? Any gains out of the aftermarket flywheels?
I run a fidanza alum fw with my ls7 it was 7lbs lighter (the whole assembly against the whole assembly pp,fw,disc) than my wore out ls1 over all. i had it race balanced for 15,000 rpm and yes the car rides smooth and def revs faster

That's what I was afraid of Any suggestions? I would like to maintain streetability as much as is possible.
Had one in my 428rwhp 408rwtq '99 coupe, and I HATED it! When pushing it hard passed 6k rpms, it would go soft and stick to the floor. The problem started when it had about 8k miles on it. Not worth the hassle or price of install.
You will also find many folks on the C6 forum that hate it for the same reasons.
