Help I didn't drive my car all winter so I went out and put a brand new Optima Red top in and went for a ride and found a few things wrong

When ever I turn on any kind of air (not AC) the AC automatically comes on and wont go off even when I turn on the heat. WTF?

The top two buttons on the DIC are no longer lighting up, I'm guessing I need to replace a bulb. Does anyone have instructions on how to do this? Thanks in advance....

OH yea and for some reason when ever I put my key in it defaults to memory 2 how do I change this?

The A/C coming on is normal ..... so long as the outside air temp is above about 37 degrees F, then the HVAC (you have the Automatic one, right?) control unit uses the A/C evaporator to de-humidify the air .... even if it is say 45 outside and in the car and you have the heat set to 80 ... the A/C will be on.

If you have a bulb out you will have to remove the IPC to get to the bulbs. I've not had to open mine for bulbs ... hopefully someone else can define what needs replacing.

Take a look at the back of your key fob ... does it have the number 2 marked on it ??? Sounds like you're using the "wrong" fob.
