Ok what does this mean. I have been having a problem with my converter either slipping or unlocking in fourth is this realated?
Does this mean my converter is coming apart and starting to hurt the trans? I just got hp tuners so I was going to see if the tcc was slipping but now I dont know if I should drive the car or not.
Mods in sig below btw the converter locked just fine in third on the dyno it made 614rwhp on a break in tune.
do a search on the code and also 0750 -there's plenty of posts about it. getting the code is not uncommon when you have an after market TC - I get it 4-5 times a year. many guys use HP tuners to turn the code off, I live with it and re-set every time it comes up.I'm not sure about the "slipping" you mentioned, need more info, but that's why I suggested the search.
update: Using HP tuners I can lock my converter in third and it does not slip. putting it in fourth the computer thinks its lock but there is slipage recored. It seam like the error code is refering to a internal solinoid that is not manually keeping the converter locked.
